About Us

Castleknock Tuition established since 1981, provides grinds to small groups of second level students preparing for Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations. We also offer some 5th Year classes. Students are from Castleknock, Blanchardstown, Dunboyne, Dunshaughlin and outlying areas. Tuition is offered on Saturday mornings in St Brigid's Community Centre and nearby Scoil Bhrid beside the Roman Catholic church in Blanchardstown village. Evening tuition is at the Church of Ireland Parish Centre and adjacent Castleknock National School.

The emphasis is on exam preparation through the study of questions from past papers and familiarity with marking schemes. While the vast majority of our students are in second level education, repeat or mature students are welcome. Classes are delivered over two terms: the current 12 week term from September to December 2009 and the second 14 week term from January to May 2010.
