How long are the courses and when do they run ?
The current term term is 14 weeks long from late January to late May.
How long are the classes ?
Leaving Cert and 5th Year classes are one and a quarter hours in length. Junior Cert classes are one hour in length.
How long is the current term, and what are the current fees ?
The current term is 14 weeks. Leaving Cert and 5th Year fees are €260. Junior Cert fees are €230
Can I enrol any time during term ?
Yes, subject to availability
How do I enrol ?
You should use the online form, email or phone. Your place is then kept until enrolment
If I join a class during term, how are fees charged ?
Fees are adjusted pro rata
Can I transfer between classes ?
Yes, subject to availability
Are fees refundable ?
Where a class does not form, fees are refunded in full.
Fees are non refundable once the class is formed. However students can transfer to another class, subject to availability.
There are fewer than the minimum of 5 students enrolled for my class. Does this mean there will be no class?
Not necessarily. We can offer such classes on the following basis:
3Students: At current fees of €230(Junior Cert) or €260 (Leaving Cert) class runs for 9 weeks only.
4Students: At current fees of €230(Junior Cert) or €260 (Leaving Cert) class runs for 11 weeks only.
Should additional students join during the term, the relevant additional weeks are added on. Indeed it is often the case that once such classes are up and running other students enrol and the course runs the full 14 weeks.
My subject isn't offered ?
Perhaps you need help with a particular subject which is not currently on offer at Castleknock Tuition. Please contact us and register your interest. If some of your fellow classmates are also interested they should also contact us, as it is much easier to form a class in these circumstances. Either way, let us know!
